Job summary

ERCOT seeks a senior leader to head the Dynamic Model Support group for Large Load Interconnection, guiding data centers and industrial loads through NERC and ERCOT-initiated studies. You will mentor a team, coordinate rulemakings, and present to stakeholders.

You will oversee PSS/E based dynamic modeling, support budgeting decisions, and drive platform initiatives while staying current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related work experience with 1 year in a management role.
• 5+ years in system planning, operations, or interconnection.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff hiring, coaching, training and performance management.
• Set departmental goals and priorities.
• Direct day-to-day strategy for Batch stability studies for Large Load Interconnection.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to implement Batch studies.
• Oversee Dynamic Model Management (PSS/E) for Resource, Large Load, and Transmission devices.
• Lead dynamic model change and update requests.
• Drive MQT Platform initiatives and review inputs from SMEs.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and present to executives.
• Engage leadership across functions to align protocols and rules.
