Job summary

Electric Power Engineers is seeking a senior team lead to guide power system modeling and ERCOT studies. You will manage a team of electrical engineers, drive project delivery, and collaborate with clients on scope and requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence in PSSE/PSCAD/TSAT/PSLF, and growing the capabilities of the team within a global consulting environment.

Qualifications

Requires BS or higher in Electrical Engineering with a power systems emphasis.
Extensive experience in power system modeling and ERCOT requirements.
Minimum 5 years in the power system industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven knowledge of power system and IBR modeling.
Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of electrical engineers on ERCOT IBR modeling tasks and NERC PRC-0.29 studies.
Manage projects to meet deadlines, quality, and budget objectives.
Interact with clients to define scope and address needs and concerns.
Develop the capabilities of engineers within the team and organization.
Support business development with RFPs and scope definitions.
