Job summary

Electric Power Engineers is seeking a senior team lead to guide power system modeling and ERCOT studies. You will manage a team of electrical engineers, drive project delivery, and collaborate with clients on scope and requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence in PSSE/PSCAD/TSAT/PSLF, and growing the capabilities of the team within a global consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Requires BS or higher in Electrical Engineering with a power systems emphasis.
• Extensive experience in power system modeling and ERCOT requirements.
• Minimum 5 years in the power system industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven knowledge of power system and IBR modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electrical engineers on ERCOT IBR modeling tasks and NERC PRC-0.29 studies.
• Manage projects to meet deadlines, quality, and budget objectives.
• Interact with clients to define scope and address needs and concerns.
• Develop the capabilities of engineers within the team and organization.
• Support business development with RFPs and scope definitions.
