Job summary

ERCOT seeks a senior leader to manage the Grid Implementation team, directing reliability analyses of upcoming grid changes and leading cross-functional coordination. The role combines technical SME responsibilities with people leadership and strategic program management in Texas.

The ideal candidate has a PE license preference, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and 8–10+ years of relevant experience, including management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred or equivalent experience.
• PE Professional Engineer certification preferred.
• Sr Manager requires 10+ years of job-related experience with 3+ years in a management role; Manager requires 8+ years with 2+ years in management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day and strategic direction of the Grid Implementation team.
• Analyze upcoming grid changes and identify potential reliability issues in defined time horizons.
• Develop and review CMPs, GTCs, RASs, and EAPs, and mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate with TDSPs and internal groups to develop study cases and tools.
• Lead annual CMP reviews and ensure compliance with NERC Standards and ERCOT Protocols.
