Job summary
Workiva is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead a team of Solution Sales Executives focused on Governance, Risk & Compliance solutions for the Public Sector. You will coach, recruit and guide the team to win opportunities, maintain forecasts and drive cross‑functional collaboration for customer success.
You will mentor growth, manage performance, and influence stakeholders to deliver excellent customer experiences while meeting revenue targets.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in enterprise tech or complex solution sales
- 3+ years of progressive sales management experience in software/tech
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Develop coaching plans and regular feedback for each team member
- Mentor and foster growth mindset within the team
- Identify and recruit top sales talent and manage performance
- Set account territory priorities for the team
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and plans
- Use data to monitor performance and identify trends
- Align sales strategies with company goals and customer needs
- Monitor outreach, pipeline and deal quality
- Build relationships with internal teams and external customers
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration to support the sales team
