Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Grant Administrator to support the Voices for Healthy Kids team. This role coordinates the strategic operational execution of complex grant-funded programs, translating goals into budgets, systems, and processes.

Home-based work is available and a team lead capacity may arise. You'll liaise with program strategy, finance, compliance, and operations to ensure timely grant deliverables, monitor budgets, and produce internal/external reports,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of meaningful experience.
• Experience in accounting, budgeting, grant management, and reporting is required.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into program management and monitors processes.
• Coordinates program budget development with leadership and funders.
• Monitors budgets, procurement, contracts, and vendor invoices with variance reporting.
• Collaborates with finance, legal, operations, and development teams to ensure policy compliance.
• Develops internal systems and documentation for audit readiness.
• Acts as Voices technology coordinator to optimize grantmaking systems.
• Builds strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Leads or contributes to cross-functional initiatives and projects.
