Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Grant Administrator for the Voices for Healthy Kids team. This home-based role coordinates complex, multi‑million‑dollar grants, aligning program strategy with budgets, systems, and processes to ensure efficiency and impact.

You will lead cross‑functional collaboration, monitor spends, drive grant reporting, and support audit readiness while mentoring staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into the program and monitors processes.
• Develops and maintains internal records and systems to support program management.
• Monitors budgets and spending, collaborates with financial management staff; responsible for all budget reporting, including forecasting and reporting on variances.
• Provides relevant analysis as needed.
• Coordinates program budget development and facilitation with various leadership teams.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures, analyze financial activity and provide variance reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation guidance.
• Supports fiscal integrity and alignment with grant objectives.
• Coordinates work with internal stakeholders across staff functions ensuring policy compliance.
• Develop and maintain internal systems, controls, and documentation for audit readiness.
• Act as the Voices technology coordinator to optimize systems for grantmaking and reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and grantees.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and project teams.
• Contributes to operational planning for grant-making through innovations and system enhancements.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and oversight to team members; may lead or coach.
