Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to collaborate with a large federal agency. You will translate business needs into functional requirements and create compelling documentation, briefs, and operational content.

Strong collaboration with government stakeholders and internal teams is essential. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in business analysis, experience with Agile, Jira/Confluence, and the ability to obtain government clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or engineering.
• Ability to obtain government security clearance.
• 7+ years of business/systems analysis experience.
• Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methods.
• Experience with Jira or similar Agile tools.

Responsibilities

• Document and analyze business and functional requirements for transformation.
• Develop documentation, process maps, and technical specifications.
• Create high-level briefings and communications for stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and new tech.
• Collaborate with government partners and internal teams.
• Glean SME inputs to write procedure manuals and specs.
• Develop content across MS and Atlassian products (Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence).
• Research, outline, write, and edit content to ensure cohesive voice.
