UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a senior GME Coordinator III to lead and coordinate complex residency/fellowship programs. You will work with the Program Director to shape strategy, mentor junior coordinators, and supervise accreditation activities.

The role demands autonomy, advanced knowledge of GME regulations, and the ability to drive program improvement across multiple stakeholders. A strong track record in educational leadership is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field
• Associate's Degree plus 3 additional years of direct experience may be accepted
• 4 years of direct experience as primary GME program coordinator of an ACGME-accredited residency-fellowship program(s)
• May be required to submit to a federal background investigation
• Master's Degree preferred

Aufgaben

• Leads strategic planning and development of the GME program with the Program Director
• Oversees resident recruitment, selection, onboarding, and educational experience
• Develops innovative educational strategies to improve resident learning and program quality
• Oversees program evaluation including resident and faculty evaluations
• Leads accreditation activities including site visits and self-studies
• Advises Program Director on policies and strategic initiatives
• Mentors junior program coordinators and may supervise staff
• Represents the program at national and international meetings
• Builds relationships with faculty, residents, staff, and accrediting bodies
• Manages program budgets, forecasting, expenditures, and compliance
• Ensures HIPAA, FERPA, and applicable laws compliance
• Keeps up with advances in medical education and accreditation standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
