Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator III to provide strategic direction and oversight for complex residency/fellowship programs. You will work with the Program Director, mentor junior coordinators, and drive initiatives to enhance program quality.

The role requires advanced knowledge of GME regulations, strong budgeting and stakeholder management, and the ability to operate with autonomy in a university-affiliated medical setting.

Qualifications

• Education and experience aligned with GME program administration.
• Experience as a primary coordinator of an ACGME-accredited residency-fellowship program(s).
• Master’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and development of GME programs with the Program Director.
• Oversee resident recruitment, onboarding, and educational experiences.
• Drive innovative educational strategies to improve resident learning and program quality.
• Coordinate accreditation activities and ensure compliance with ACGME requirements.
• Advise the Program Director on policies and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor junior program coordinators and supervise staff as needed.
