Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Graduate Medical Education Training Administrator to supervise GME program coordinators and guide the department's accreditation and policy compliance. The role requires advanced knowledge in GME administration and independent decision-making in complex situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• 6 years of direct experience as the primary GME program coordinator of an ACGME-accredited residency-fellowship program(s)
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Master's Degree preferred
• TAGME certification preferred upon hire

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and development of GME programs with the Program Director.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily operations of multiple GME educational programs and maintain detailed records.
• Provide guidance to Program Directors and Coordinators on accreditation, program development, and issue resolution.
• Supervise GME Program Coordinators, conduct performance appraisals and support career advancement.
