UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a senior GME Program Administrator to lead and oversee multiple residency and fellowship programs, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

The role requires autonomy and strategic oversight, with responsibilities for budgeting, compliance, and supervision of GME coordinators, contributing to the overall success of the GME enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• 6 years of direct experience as the primary GME program coordinator of an ACGME-accredited residency-fellowship program(s)
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• May be required to submit to a federal background investigation.
• Master's Degree preferred; TAGME training highly preferred on hire

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and development of the GME programs in collaboration with the Program Director.
• Ensure department policies meet accreditation standards and university policies.
• Oversee daily operations of multiple educational programs including residencies and fellowships.
• Provide guidance to Program Directors and Coordinators on accreditation and program development.
• Supervise and mentor GME Coordinators and conduct performance appraisals.
• Coordinate communication among Directors, staff, trainees, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and other laws.
• Oversee program records, reporting, and budget development and monitoring.
