Job summary

GEODIS USA, LLC in Carson, CA is seeking a Senior Account Representative - Customs Brokerage to act as the customer service liaison between GEODIS and clients. You will select carriers, route shipments, process documents, and enter data in Cargowise while coordinating with overseas offices.

The role requires 3+ years in customs brokerage, proficiency in AS400 and Cargowise, and familiarity with ERP/TMS/WMS systems. This on-site, full-time position offers growth opportunities within GEODIS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customs brokerage, import/export of goods or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with ERP systems, TMS and WMS applications in logistics
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with customers and internal teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer service liaison between GEODIS and customers
• Select carriers and routing based on shipment characteristics or customer needs
• Process documents and information requests; enter notes in Cargowise
• Coordinate with overseas offices; communicate with internal teams and vendors
• Coordinate bookings with airlines, ocean carriers, and trucking companies
• Ensure shipment data accuracy in IRIS and complete invoicing requirements on time
