Zoom is seeking a Senior Accountant for its General Ledger team in a remote-first, hybrid environment. You will own the full accounting lifecycle for Internal Use Software and Cloud Computing Arrangements, ensuring accurate GAAP reporting and balance sheet integrity.

You will partner with Engineering, FP&A, IT, and Finance to implement AI-driven automation, support monthly closes, and contribute to audit activities. This role blends technical accounting with process optimization.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; 5+ years in accounting with public company experience preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and month/quarter/year-end close cycles.
• Experience with accrual accounting, cost allocations, and journal entries.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) and advanced Excel; handling large data sets.
• Experience leveraging AI/automation to enhance daily accounting tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Own the accounting lifecycle for IUS and CCA including capitalization tracking and journal entries under ASC 350-40.
• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting docs; improve automation where possible.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts per US GAAP; investigate variances.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analyses; collaborate with FP&A on P&L movements.
• Support financial reporting cycles and assemble management P&L summaries and schedules.
• Ensure SOX compliance and assist with internal/external audits; validate controls.
