Zoom is seeking a Senior Accountant on the General Ledger team to own the full accounting lifecycle for capitalized software, including Internal Use Software (IUS) and Cloud Computing Arrangements (CCA). This role supports close processes, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity in a remote-first, hybrid-friendly environment.

You will collaborate with Engineering, FP&A, IT, and Finance to ensure accurate recording, leverage AI-driven tools, and help shape automation across

Formación

US GAAP knowledge including accrual accounting and close cycles.
Public company experience preferred; familiarity with SOX controls.
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) and advanced Excel for large data sets.
Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and automation to accelerate tasks.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume close.
CPA license or active CPA candidacy; experience in public accounting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Own accounting lifecycle for IUS and CCA including capitalization tracking.
Prepare and post journal entries with supporting docs; improve automation where possible.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve reconciling items.
Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analyses with FP&A.
Support financial reporting and audit activities; coordinate evidence gathering.
