Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our geotechnical team. This pivotal role covers planning, execution, and closure of environmental, geotechnical, and civil projects for municipal, industrial, residential, and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering degree, 5–12 years in geotechnical engineering or materials testing with 3+ years in a supervisory role, PE licensure or reciprocity, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
• PE licensure or reciprocity preferred; ability to obtain in applicable state.
• Minimum 5–12 years geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing experience.
• Experience supervising or managing project teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.
• Lead geotechnical investigations, site reconnaissance, and data collection.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet project goals.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
