Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. seeks a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead geotechnical and civil engineering projects for diverse clients across municipal, industrial, residential, and commercial sectors.

The role requires hands-on project engineering, leadership experience, and the ability to manage complex assignments from conception through completion; PE licensure is preferred and on-site collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Licensed PE (SC reciprocity or ability to obtain).
• 5–12 years geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing with 3+ years in supervision.
• Knowledge of geotechnical design and construction.
• Experience with site investigations, field data collection.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection.
• Mentor and manage junior engineers and field staff.
• Ensure project quality and timely delivery through planning and coordination.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations.
