Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead environmental, geotechnical, and civil projects for municipal, industrial, residential, and commercial clients. This role demands hands-on project engineering, leadership, and delivering high-quality solutions from conception through completion.

The Geotechnical Group handles site investigations, design, and construction support, with mentorship opportunities and a path for growth within a growing firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE licensure in SC or ability to obtain reciprocity.
• 5–12 years geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing; 3+ years in management.
• Knowledge of geotechnical design and construction.
• Knowledge of geosynthetics.
• Experience with site development, foundations, retaining walls, earthwork, and pavements.
• Ability to prepare reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Proficiency with engineering software and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project tasks.
• Lead geotechnical investigations and data collection.
• Coordinate client communications and project scheduling.
• Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
