Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead geotechnical, environmental, and civil projects. You will manage plan scope, execution, and closure with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions for municipal, industrial, residential, and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, 5–12 years in geotechnical engineering, and a track record in supervision and client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in SC or the ability to obtain reciprocity where the firm operates.
• Minimum 5–12 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and/or materials testing with 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, designers, and field staff.
• Delegate tasks and oversee project team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to requirements.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors, ensuring clear communication and quality outcomes.
