Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer Manager to lead complex infrastructure and development projects across New England from our Merrimack, NH office. The role combines technical depth with project management and client development.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, design, and construction support, mentoring engineers, and driving business growth while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related geotechnical focus.
• 10+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience.
• PE license in a New England state or ability to obtain via reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical engineering projects from proposal and planning through design, construction, and closeout.
• Provide technical oversight for investigations, exploration programs, foundation design, slope stability, retaining structures, and earthwork.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, quality, and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and regulators to deliver project outcomes.
• Review and prepare engineering reports, specifications, calculations, and construction documents.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
• Support business development activities and client relationships.
