Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer Manager to lead complex infrastructure and development projects across New England from our Merrimack, NH office. This high‑impact leadership role blends strong technical expertise with project management, client development, and team mentoring.

You will oversee geotechnical investigations, analyses, and design efforts for transportation, energy, buildings, and private development work, while mentoring junior engineers and supporting business

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering with a geotechnical focus.
10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience and project leadership.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in New England or eligible for reciprocity.

Responsibilities

Lead geotechnical projects from proposal through design, construction and closeout.
Provide technical oversight for investigations, slope stability, foundations and earthwork.
Manage scope, budgets, schedules, quality and client deliverables.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and regulators to achieve outcomes.
Prepare reports, specifications, calculations and construction documents.
Mentor junior engineers and support business development activities.
Ensure compliance with standards, safety policies and company codes.
