Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks an experienced Senior Engineer to join its Geotechnical Group in the Southeast. The role emphasizes leadership of complex projects, mentoring staff, and expanding geotechnical capabilities for municipal, industrial, residential, and commercial clients.

The candidate will manage field investigations, interpret data, prepare technical reports, and collaborate across teams to achieve client objectives in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• PE licensure in SC or NC; ability to become licensed in additional southeastern states within six months.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical focus; Master’s preferred.
• 6–8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of geotechnical design, construction requirements, and geosynthetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert interpretation of analytical data for wide range of projects.
• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and testing.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, maps, and presentations for clients and regulators.
• Ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and quality in deliverables.
• Oversee projects, budgets, schedules, and staffing; mentor junior staff.
• Stay current with regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
