Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead geotechnical projects within our Construction Materials Testing group. The role focuses on managing complex projects, providing advanced technical expertise, and mentoring junior staff.

The position offers opportunities to serve local municipal, industrial, residential, and commercial clients, with travel up to 10%. BLE emphasizes collaboration, client relations, and delivering high-quality geotechnical solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical focus; Masters preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in SC or NC; willingness to become licensed in additional southeastern states.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert interpretation of analytical data for a wide variety of projects.
• Lead geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection for soils testing.
• Interpret site data to inform project objectives and decisions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, maps, and client presentations with technical accuracy.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
