GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a technically diversified Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Manager 1 to support our Power Generation Geotechnical Engineering Group in the Richmond, VA area.

The role focuses on developing client relationships, providing staff management, and offering civil and geotechnical engineering expertise across multi-discipline projects. The candidate will perform project planning, design, and geotechnical services for Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing

Qualifications

12+ years of civil/geotechnical engineering experience.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License with multi-state reciprocity.
B.S. or M.S. in Engineering required.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships with Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients and internal clients within GAI’s Business Sectors.
Lead business development pursuits and develop statements of qualifications, scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and fees.
Provide design, management, and technical direction for geotechnical components on multi-discipline projects.
Lead teams to successfully execute assigned projects and manage cost, schedule, and quality.
