Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a technically diversified Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Manager 1 to support our Power Generation Geotechnical Engineering Group in Richmond, VA.

The role focuses on developing client relationships, staff management, and delivering geotechnical engineering expertise across multidisciplinary design and construction projects. The successful candidate will plan, design, and manage geotechnical services for Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with reciprocity in multiple states.

Responsibilities

Building relationships with Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients and internal clients within GAI's Business Sectors.
Leading business development pursuits and developing statements of qualifications and proposed project scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and fees.
Providing design, management, and technical direction and oversight for geotechnical components on multi-discipline design and construction projects.
Supervising a staff of engineers and technicians and leading teams to successfully execute all assigned projects.
