GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a technically diversified Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Manager 1 to support its Power Generation Geotechnical Engineering Group in Richmond, VA.
The role focuses on client development and staff leadership across multi‑discipline design and construction projects. The ideal candidate will lead business development, manage project performance, and provide technical direction in geotechnical engineering for energy and industrial sectors, while mentoring the team
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in civil/geotechnical engineering leadership.
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering required; PE license preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with multi-state reciprocity desirable.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients and internal clients within GAI's Business Sectors.
- Lead business development pursuits, develop statements of qualifications, scopes, schedules, budgets, and fees.
- Provide design, management, and technical direction for geotechnical components on multi-discipline projects.
- Mentor and lead the geotechnical group and other staff.
