GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a technically diversified Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Manager 1 to support our Power Generation Geotechnical Engineering Group working in Richmond, VA.

An ideal candidate will develop client relationships, provide staff management, and apply civil and geotechnical engineering expertise across multi-discipline design and construction projects. Qualifications

Minimum 12 years of engineering experience.
B.S. or M.S. in Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with multi-state reciprocity.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients.
Lead business development pursuits including statements of qualifications and proposed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and fees.
Provide design, management, and technical direction for geotechnical components.
Mentor geotechnical group and lead project teams.
Oversee cost, schedule, quality, safety, and profitability of projects.
