GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a technically diversified Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Manager 1 to support our Power Generation Geotechnical Engineering Group in Richmond, VA.

This role provides opportunities to develop client relationships and staff leadership across a range of multi-discipline design and construction projects. The successful candidate will plan, design, and manage geotechnical engineering services for Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients, leading

Qualifications

12+ years of engineering experience.
B.S. or M.S. in Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with reciprocity in multiple states.

Responsibilities

Building relationships with Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients and internal clients within GAI's Business Sectors.
Leading business development pursuits and developing statements of qualifications and proposed project scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and fees.
Providing design, management, and technical direction and oversight with geotechnical components on multi-discipline projects.
Leading teams to successfully execute all assigned projects.
Providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the geotechnical group.
