GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a technically diversified Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Manager 1 to lead the Power Generation Geotechnical Engineering Group in Richmond, VA.

You will develop client relationships, supervise staff, and apply civil and geotechnical expertise across multi-discipline projects. The role covers project planning, design, and engineering for Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients, with opportunities to advance, mentor, and contribute to a growing firm

Qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering experience.
• P.E. license required (or reciprocity).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering.
• Experience in civil/geotechnical engineering for energy, industrial, or manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients.
• Lead business development pursuits and develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and fees.
• Provide design, management, and technical direction for geotechnical components.
• Lead and mentor geotechnical staff and teams on multiple projects.
• Monitor project costs, profitability, and schedule performance.
