Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) in Florida is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine‑driven standby generators for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

You will travel in company service vehicles across local counties, perform preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting, and participate in extensive IPS training to grow your skills and safety.

Qualifications

• Technical schooling in generators, diesel, power gen, or related substation tech is helpful.
• Experience in generator repair or maintenance preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read schematics and safety guidelines; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain diesel/gas engine generators in the field.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, testing and troubleshooting.
• Communicate with customers and complete work reports; travel in company vehicle.
