Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in field settings for residential, commercial, and industrial clients in Florida and beyond.

You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and documentation, traveling in a company vehicle to client sites while upholding IPS safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

Requires mechanical aptitude and good customer service skills.
Experience with generators or power systems is preferred but not required.
Able to read schematics and manuals to troubleshoot.
Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and be able to pass a DOT medical certification.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and servicing of diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators.
Inspect mechanical and electrical systems and document findings.
Test loads, ATS systems, and perform functional testing.
Troubleshoot component issues and perform diagnostics with meters and tools.
Commission and start up equipment; communicate effectively with customers and document work performed.
