Job summary

Integrated Power Services in Florida is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine‑driven standby generators for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

You will travel locally in a company vehicle, perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning, and ensure power stays on when it matters most. IPS offers extensive training and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Technical school is desired to include generators, diesel, power gen, electric power, relay, or substation technology.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine‑driven standby generators in the field.
• Perform preventative maintenance: oil & filter changes, inspections, and tests.
• Diagnostics: troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues; read schematics and manuals.
• Operate a company vehicle to service local clients and ensure uptime.
