Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators for residential, commercial, and industrial clients across Florida.

Qualifications

• Technical school graduation in generator-related fields preferred.
• Experience in repair or maintenance of generators preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean driving record and ability to obtain DOT certification.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in all weather.
• Willingness to travel in local counties in company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical systems.
• Clean and service unit components including filters and cooling system.
• Test load bank, ATS, and system functionality.
• Troubleshoot components such as alternators, wiring, switches.
• Read schematics and manuals to diagnose issues.
• Commission and start-up switchgear and control panels.
• Report work completed and maintain service vehicle inventory.
