Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Engineer (Generative AI) to design, develop, and deploy scalable GenAI solutions in an enterprise setting.

You will work with cross-functional teams to build production-ready AI systems that meet enterprise standards for security, reliability, and scalability. The role emphasizes hands-on work with LLMs, RAG architectures, LangChain/LangGraph, and cloud-native practices, including Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and IaC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Five to six years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• GenAI Solution Development: Develop and implement GenAI applications leveraging LLMs, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and agentic AI concepts.
• Build intelligent pipelines using LangChain, LangGraph, and Microsoft Foundry Agent Service.
• Evaluate solution performance, accuracy, and scalability of GenAI implementations.
• GenAIOps & Lifecycle Support including design, deployment, and optimization.
• Support secure deployment, horizontal scaling, and observability practices for production GenAI workloads.
• Develop and deploy GenAI systems across Azure and AWS using modern infrastructure practices.
