Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Engineer (Generative AI) to design, develop, and deploy scalable GenAI solutions within an enterprise cloud environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready AI systems that meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, and reliability. The role emphasizes hands-on work with LLMs, RAG architectures, and modern cloud-native practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and IaC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7–9 years of software or platform engineering experience.
• 2+ years hands-on GenAI experience (LLMs, RAG, vector databases).
• Knowledge of LangChain or LangGraph.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy scalable GenAI solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Build production-ready AI systems with focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
• Develop GenAI applications using LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Create intelligent pipelines using LangChain, LangGraph, and Foundry Agent Service.
• Support GenAI lifecycle including design, deployment, performance tuning, and monitoring.
