Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Engineer (Generative AI) to design, develop, and deploy scalable GenAI solutions across cloud environments, with hands-on work on LLMs, RAG architectures, and prompt engineering.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build production‑ready AI systems, ensure security and reliability, and scale workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and IaC. Hybrid work model requiring in‑office days three times a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in software/platform engineering.
• 2 years hands-on experience with GenAI systems, including LLMs and RAG architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Proficiency in Python development and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI solutions at scale.
• Build production-ready GenAI apps using LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Develop intelligent pipelines with LangChain, LangGraph, and related tooling.
• Ensure security, reliability, and observability of GenAI workloads.
• Contribute to CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment workflows.
