Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Engineer (Generative AI) to design, develop, and deploy scalable GenAI solutions.

You will work with LLMs, RAG, prompts, and agentic AI to build production-ready AI systems that meet enterprise requirements for security, availability, and performance. The role involves building intelligent pipelines, leveraging LangChain/LangGraph and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) while ensuring robust CI/CD and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–9 years of experience in software or platform engineering.
• 2+ years hands-on GenAI experience with LLMs and RAG architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Strong Python development skills.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools.

Responsibilities

• GenAI solution development using LLMs, RAG, prompts, and agentic AI concepts.
• Build pipelines with LangChain, LangGraph, and Agent Service frameworks.
• Ensure scalability, security, and reliability for production GenAI systems.
• Contribute to end-to-end GenAI lifecycle: design, deployment, and optimization.
• Develop cloud-native GenAI systems across Azure and AWS; enable deployment, monitoring, and observability.
• Develop scalable Python applications and CI/CD workflows; participate in code reviews.
