Job summary

Provectus is a premier AWS partner and Anthropic strategic partner, embedding engineers as Forward Deployed Architects to deliver production GenAI solutions across financial services and healthcare. You will begin by taking the operator’s seat inside the client team, learning the workflow from within, and reimagining it from first principles to ship value.

You will build, test, and deploy LLM-based apps on AWS, establishing evaluation harnesses and owning delivery end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software with production code accountability.
• Willing to spend weeks in the operator's seat (claims processing, underwriting, revenue-cycle work).
• Able to learn new domains quickly and converse with domain experts.
• Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production, not just demos.
• Built or owned an eval suite for non-deterministic systems and can explain measurements.
• Strong fundamentals; productive in unfamiliar codebases.
• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript; depth over stack.
• Cloud-native on AWS; containers, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD.
• Credible with senior stakeholders: can discuss redesign with BU head and scoping with CTO.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Do the operator’s job for two to four weeks at engagement start.
• Reach working fluency in a new domain in weeks, not quarters.
• Redesign the function from first principles with the operator and leadership.
