Job summary

Provectus seeks an experienced Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed with client teams and ship production GenAI systems on AWS. You will learn domain specifics by actually performing the operator’s job, then redesign processes from first principles alongside Forward Deployed Executives.

You will lead by example, owning outcomes, driving robust evaluation, and delivering production-grade AI solutions in collaboration with senior stakeholders. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software, with hands-on production code.
• Willing to spend weeks doing someone else’s job before coding.
• Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production.
• Strong engineering fundamentals; comfortable in unfamiliar codebases.
• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript; depth > stack.
• Cloud-native delivery on AWS; Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, CI/CD.
• Credible with senior stakeholders; able to discuss redesigns.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Ship production GenAI systems into the customer environment.
• Own the redesign of customer functions from first principles.
• Work with Forward Deployed Executives and engineers to deliver outcomes.
• Build evaluation harnesses and measure KPI-driven success.
• Collaborate with operators to learn domain specifics quickly.
