Job summary

Provectus is seeking a senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join our AI delivery practice in the United States. You will ship production GenAI systems, own the implementation from the operator’s seat, and work with senior stakeholders on blueprint activations across financial services and healthcare.

You’ll write production code in Python and TypeScript, lead evaluation harnesses, and deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS, with a remote-friendly culture and strong bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software, hands-on today
• Willing to spend weeks in operator’s seat before coding
• Learn domains quickly to converse with domain experts
• Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production
• Built/evaluated non-deterministic system evals and metrics
• Strong fundamentals; productive in unfamiliar codebases
• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript; depth > stack
• Cloud-native delivery on AWS; GCP/Azure a plus; containers/Kubernetes/ECS; IaC; CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Take the operator’s seat at the start of engagements
• Reach fluency in new domains within weeks
• Redesign functions from first principles alongside executives
• Ship production GenAI systems in customer environments
• Develop and run evaluation harnesses and metrics
• Write production-grade backend services and data pipelines
• Take systems to production on AWS and adapt to customer needs
• Align work with business KPIs and stakeholder expectations
