Qualifications

• 8+ years building software with hands-on production code
• Willing to spend weeks in operator’s seat performing non-code work
• Able to learn new domains quickly
• Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production, not demos
• Built/evaluated eval suites for non-deterministic systems
• Strong fundamentals, proficient in Python and/or TypeScript
• Cloud-native delivery on AWS; containers, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD
• Can discuss redesign with BU heads and CTOs
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership; you own the method
• Solid AI/ML foundations; understands model behavior beyond APIs
• Hands-on production experience with Claude Code/Cowork
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Take the operator’s job for 2–4 weeks at engagement start
• Reach working fluency in a new domain like insurance underwriting or revenue cycle in weeks
• Redesign the function from first principles with a Forward Deployed Executive
• Ship production GenAI systems into the customer environment
• Build an eval harness before features; instrument and measure success
• Write production code across backend, data pipelines, and AI layer
• Take systems to production on AWS with observable, maintainable design
• Grow the blueprint knowledge to baseline future engagements
• Work closely with operators, executives, and engineers to drive KPIs
• Shape commitments before execution; you own the outcome
