Job summary

Syms Strategic Group is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst - II to drive the capture and documentation of software requirements in an ALM environment. You will collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to elaborate and document functional, technical, and non-technical requirements for multiple projects within a SAFe framework.

The role demands excellence in communication, rigorous requirements analysis, and strong experience with JIRA and Agile practices.

Qualifications

Must have background in software development and SAFe/Agile methodologies.
Excellent oral and written communication to convey complex topics.
Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and customer service.
Experience conducting independent research to support complex questions.

Responsibilities

Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
Collaborate with users, IT and leadership to elaborate requirements in an ALM tool.
Manage requirements in an ALM tool and perform agile requirement management.
Analyze user needs to determine functional, cross-functional, and technical requirements.
Conduct user interviews and develop business process models and specifications.
Gather and document requirements from customers, team members and stakeholders.
Write and deliver project documents and manage risks/issues affecting progress.
Develop change requests and manage configuration control for project artifacts.
Provide status metrics across the SAFe product development lifecycle.
