Job summary

Refinitiv is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the CoCounsel Applications team in a hands‑on role building and evolving our external integration strategy, leveraging MCP and A2A. You will design and deliver full‑stack features across frontend and backend systems, with hands‑on work in React, TypeScript and Python stacks, contributing to AI‑powered capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and Python stacks for full‑stack features.
• Experience building APIs and services with Python; familiarity with GenAI concepts and MCP/A2A is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build End-to-End Solutions: Design and implement full‑stack features across frontend and backend systems, including hands‑on development in our React, TypeScript and Python stacks — and direct contribution to AI‑powered capabilities such as agentic workflows, LLM integrations, and MCP/A2A‑based tooling.
• Deliver Quality Software: Apply best practices for code quality, performance, accessibility, testing, and maintainability in your own work, and contribute to raising the bar through thoughtful code reviews.
• Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Partner closely with product, design, and backend teams to clarify requirements, help define APIs, and deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Own Your Workstreams: Break down features into well‑scoped tasks, provide reliable estimates, and take your work from development through production with minimal oversight.
• Share Knowledge: Contribute to a strong engineering culture through pairing, code reviews, and open technical discussion with your teammates.
