Job summary

Refinitiv is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering CoCounsel’s next-generation UI and backend systems. You will guide architecture, influence product strategy, and drive end-to-end delivery in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering with leadership, proficiency in React/Angular/Vue, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python, plus familiarity with GenAI and AI/ML infrastructure. You’ll recruit, mentor, and shape high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with leadership in the last 2–3 years.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and TypeScript/Node.js/Python.
• Familiar with AI technologies, GenAI concepts, MCP, and LLM orchestration frameworks.
• 2+ years of managing engineering teams, coaching and developing talent.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, and deliver impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing team of engineers.
• Architect and build UI and backend solutions across modern tech stacks.
• Define product strategy with cross-functional partners and set technical direction.
• Own team roadmap and drive initiatives from ideation to production.
• Mentor engineers and foster professional growth.
• Define and track success metrics for project outcomes.
• Provide guidance on architecture and best practices for frontend and backend.
• Recruit and grow engineering talent to strengthen the team.
