Job summary

RTA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive Fleet360's growth as an AI-forward, full-stack architect. You will own features across the stack, shape architecture, and push for production-ready solutions that empower fleet managers and technicians.

You will partner with product, QA, and support to deliver high-impact software while advancing AI-assisted development and responsible engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional software engineering with ownership of production software.
• Full stack capability across browser, API, database, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript at production scale with well-designed APIs.
• Deep relational database ability: schema design, SQL optimization, data integrity, concurrency.
• AI-assisted development as a daily workflow with judgment and production-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end from idea to production across front-end, API, and database.
• Build great user experiences with reliable, maintainable frontend functionality.
• Design and build backend services and APIs in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Work AI-first throughout the daily workflow to speed and improve quality.
• Collaborate across Product, QA, and Support to translate problems into high-quality software.
