Scribd, Inc. is hiring for a senior full-stack engineer to shape the core reading experience for our 10M+ daily readers.

You will prototype AI-enabled features and collaborate with Product, Design, and AI/ML teams to push experiments from idea to production on the document reading page. You'll lead frontend modernization, migrate from a Ruby-on-Rails monolith to a modular microfrontend with Next.js, build GraphQL APIs, and contribute to a scalable design system while delivering fast, accessible,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack development experience with Ruby on Rails and React.
• Experience migrating monoliths to microfrontends and building GraphQL APIs.
• Proficiency with cloud environments and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Migrate frontend surfaces from Ruby-on-Rails monolith to a microfrontend.
• Collaborate with Data/ML and Content Pipeline teams to build features.
• Create GraphQL APIs and services in Node, Python, and Go.
• Contribute to design system and frontend infrastructure.
• Improve SEO and AEO with SEO PM.
