Scribd, Inc. is seeking a senior full‑stack developer to migrate frontend surfaces from a Ruby‑on‑Rails monolith to a modern microfrontend architecture.

You will collaborate with AI/ML, Design, and Product teams to prototype and ship features that enhance the document reading experience. You will build GraphQL APIs and services in Node, Python, and Go, contribute to the design system, and help improve frontend infrastructure while ensuring performance and accessibility.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience with React and Next.js or Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and service health monitoring.
• Strong collaboration across Design, Product, AI/ML, and Infrastructure.
• Commitment to clean, well-documented, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Migrate frontend surfaces from a Ruby-on-Rails monolith to a microfrontend.
