Scribd, Inc. is seeking a seasoned full‑stack/frontend engineer to help migrate our Ruby-on-Rails/React monolith toward a modular Next.js-based microfrontend.

You will build GraphQL APIs and services in Node, Python, and Go while partnering with Design, Product, AI/ML, and Infrastructure to ship high‑quality features. You’ll contribute to a modernized stack, enhance search/SEO integration, and enable innovative document experiences with AI-powered tools.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience with React and Next.js or Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with cloud services and service health.
• Collaborative across Design, Product, AI/ML, and Infrastructure.
• Commitment to code quality and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Migrate frontend surfaces to a microfrontend.
