Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead site-level operations, budgets, and people development within a Fulfillment Center in Waldorf, MD.

The role directs a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching them to meet performance objectives and foster leadership bench strength. The position emphasizes driving Lean initiatives, safety and quality, and collaboration with support functions to secure resources for strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of direct management experience in logistics, fulfillment, manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution.
• Experience delivering performance and financially-based results in high-pressure environments.
• Strong analytical capability with data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills in local language and English.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality initiatives and Lean projects to meet or exceed business plans.
• Oversee safety, quality, performance and customer experience for inbound or outbound operations.
• Set expectations for Operations and Area Managers and measure performance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities and IT to secure resources for initiatives.
