Job summary

QVC Group in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead a multi-shift, seven-day distribution operation, driving productivity, financial results and service levels across inbound or outbound functions.

You will develop annual budgets, implement process improvements, and build leadership bench strength while ensuring safety, employee engagement and inventory accuracy in a high-volume fulfillment center.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in fulfillment leadership.
• 4+ years budgeting, financial management, and labor planning.
• Experience leading cost-saving network and process improvements.
• Subject matter expert in quality and internal controls auditing, process improvement.
• Strong leadership, engagement, and change-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of a multi-shift, 7 day per week, multi-department distribution operation with productivity, financial, and service goals.
• Develop strategic plans to operate within an approved cost structure.
• Develop methods to improve processes and operational effectiveness.
• Conduct scheduled roundtable meetings across schedules, shifts, and departments.
• Develop and submit an annual budget plan; monitor expenses and variances.
• Design training programs and materials for employee education and development.
• Develop procedures to meet changing conditions; ensure cross-site consistency in quality practices.
• Set short- and long-term site vision to maximize inventory accuracy and customer service.
• Lead teams to maintain a safe working environment and maximize employee engagement.
