Job summary

Express Scripts Pharmacy Benefit Services in St. Louis, MO, is seeking an Operations Senior Supervisor to lead a team of technicians on a mid-shift. You will drive safety, quality, and production goals while shaping workflows and projects across the site.

You will work with the pharmacy senior leadership to set standards, monitor costs, and implement improvements to services for clients and internal teams. A strong leader with lean experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Relevant operations experience (pharmacy, warehouse, distribution, production, manufacturing, or engineering).
• Must be eligible to maintain a Missouri State Board of Pharmacy license in position.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to train and coach staff; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lean or process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, track and monitor safety, quality, service and production standards.
• Monitor prescription turnaround time to meet internal standards and client guarantees.
• Assist leadership in monitoring costs to meet cost-to-fill goals.
• Address staff concerns and day-to-day operational issues.
• Work in production as needed.
• Implement programs and process improvements to enhance service.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to analyze operations and efficiencies.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex issues and represent operations in cross‑functional meetings.
